1. Who we are
Altitude Aminos, LLC (“Altitude Aminos,” “we,” “us”) operates altitudeaminos.com. You can reach us at support@altitudeaminos.com. Our mailing address is 4255 South Buckley Rd #130, Aurora, CO 80013.
2. What we collect
When you place an order, sign up for our emails, or contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and order details. We also collect standard technical information automatically, such as IP address and browser type.
If you accept our Terms and Conditions at checkout, we record that acceptance — including a timestamp, a session identifier, and which version of the Terms you agreed to — as a compliance record tied to your order. We also photograph each order as it is packed and retain that image with the order record. Both records exist to resolve disputes accurately and are kept as long as the related order record.
If you subscribe to our emails or text messages, we record that consent the same way: the time, the email address or phone number, and which version of the sign-up wording you saw.
How you found us. If you arrive through a link that carries campaign labels — for example from one of our ads or one of our landing pages — we record those labels: the source and campaign, which of our landing pages and which version of it you saw, and the offer it showed. If the link came from an ad on Google, Meta (Facebook or Instagram) or another ad platform, it may also carry that platform’s click identifier (for example “gclid” or “fbclid”), a code the platform adds to identify the ad click. We also note whether your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
3. Why we use it
To fulfill and ship your order, process payment, provide customer support, prevent fraud, defend against payment disputes, meet our legal and regulatory obligations (including being able to identify who received a given lot, if that is ever needed), understand which of our ads, landing pages and offers lead to sign-ups and orders, and — only if you separately opt in — send you order or marketing text messages and emails.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the business: our payment processor, shipping carriers and label providers, our hosting and security providers, our website analytics provider, and our email/SMS service providers for messages you’ve opted into. We do not share your information with any other third party for their own purposes, except where required by law.
When you subscribe to our emails, our email provider also stores the campaign labels from your first sign-up, so we can see which campaigns bring in subscribers. Ad click identifiers are never sent to our email or SMS providers.
5. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We do not send your contact details, your orders or ad click identifiers to advertising platforms such as Google or Meta. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we record it with your sign-up or order and will treat it as your request to opt out of any such sharing.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to operate the site — for example, to remember that you’ve confirmed you meet our age and research-use requirement for the current browsing session, and to keep your session and cart working correctly.
We also use first-party cookies (set by our own site, not by advertisers) to remember how you found us:
- altitude_attribution is set when you arrive through a link with campaign labels (see section 2). It holds those labels and, if the link had one, the ad platform’s click identifier. It expires after 30 days, and a later campaign link replaces it.
- Our store software, WooCommerce, sets cookies whose names begin with sbjs_. They note where your current visit came from, such as the referring site, campaign labels and the first page you opened, and they last only for your current visit.
If you then sign up or place an order, these labels are saved with it. Section 12 explains how long.
To count visits we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It receives the pages you view (including any campaign labels and ad click identifiers in their addresses), the site that referred you, your browser and device type, your approximate location, and two shopping events: adding an item to your cart, and placing an order (its total and payment method).
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not place advertising platforms’ tracking pixels on our site.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@altitudeaminos.com. To protect your information, we will first confirm that the request comes from you, usually by replying to the email address on your account or order. We will respond within 45 days; if we need more time (up to 45 more days), we will tell you why.
When we delete your information, we keep only what we must: order, payment and shipping records needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations; the records of terms acceptance and consent described in section 2, which show what was agreed and when; and, if you unsubscribed from our emails or texts, a record that you did, so that we don’t contact you again by mistake.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. We never receive or store your full payment card number — that is handled directly by our payment processor.
9. Children
Our site and products are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age required to purchase our products.
10. United States only
We ship within the United States only, and the information described in this policy is processed and stored in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
12. How long we keep information
- Orders and the records tied to them, including the campaign labels saved with an order: as long as we need them for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Ad click identifiers saved with an order: deleted 90 days after the order.
- Campaign labels saved with an email sign-up or a customer account: 3 years. After that we keep only anonymous monthly totals, which cannot identify you.
- The altitude_attribution cookie: 30 days, in your browser.
- Email and text subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a record that you did (see section 7).
- Analytics: kept by our analytics provider. It contains no name, email address or postal address.
13. Our landing pages
We also run landing pages on other domains, such as altituderesearchcenter.com, that link to this site. This policy covers them too. The landing pages themselves set no cookies. They use the same cookieless Umami analytics described in section 6, and if you tap a button to reveal a discount code, Cloudflare Turnstile, a service run by Cloudflare, checks that you’re not a bot. Cloudflare hosts the landing pages and processes standard request information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect them. Links from a landing page to this site carry the campaign labels described in section 2, and links to our shop also carry any ad click identifier from the ad you clicked.
